RTL cult series makes a comeback - broadcaster confirms dates for "Father Christmas & Co. KG"
The popular RTL Christmas series "Father Christmas & Co. KG" will return to television this year for the first time since 2007. The broadcaster has now confirmed the dates for the new episodes.
The first episode of the new season will air on November 21, 2023 at 8:15 p.m. Then, every Tuesday there will be another episode. The series will end on December 5th with a big Christmas episode. The episodes will be shown on RTL and will also be available on the streaming service RTL+
The story takes place in the Christmas office of Father Christmas, where the elves have to deal with all kinds of problems.
In the new season, the office is facing closure as Santa Claus is said to have lost his touch when it comes to giving gifts. So the elves and Father Christmas have to come up with something quickly. Meanwhile, there is a power struggle in the office: the elf Siggi wants to become the new Santa Claus and plans to take over the office together with the elf Lilli.Fans of the series can look forward to a reunion with many familiar faces. Most of the original cast were recruited for the new episodes. Among others, these include Peter Weck as Father Christmas, Tom Gerhardt as Siggi and Gaby Köster as Lilli.
