The Tampa Bay Rays snapped a three-game losing streak on Wednesday night with an 11-5 victory over the Minnesota Twins. The Rays erupted for eight runs in the third inning to take control of the game.

The Rays' offense was led by Ji-Man Choi, who went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI. Brandon Lowe also had a big night, going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

The Twins took an early lead in the first inning on a home run by Jorge Polanco. The Rays tied the game in the second inning on a sacrifice fly by Choi.

The Rays took the lead for good in the third inning with their eight-run outburst. The inning was highlighted by a two-run double by Choi and a two-run home run by Lowe.

The Rays added two more runs in the fifth inning on a double by Yandy Díaz and a sacrifice fly by Choi.

The Twins scored two runs in the sixth inning on a home run by Byron Buxton, but the Rays' bullpen was able to shut down the Twins' offense the rest of the way.

The Rays' victory was their second straight over the Twins. The Rays will look to sweep the three-game series on Thursday afternoon.
