Schaeffler shares start the week with a slight plus

The automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler benefits from the positive momentum on the stock market and is up around half a percent on Monday morning.

Schaeffler shares are quoted at 4.6265 euros and are thus in the middle of the MDAX, which has risen slightly by around one third of a percent.

The positive start to the week for the DAX and MDAX is due to positive data from China and the USA, which are considered a sign of economic recovery. In addition, the easing of Corona measures in China provides a tailwind for the global economy.

Since the beginning of the year, Schaeffler shares have lost almost a quarter of their value. In the past few weeks, however, there has been a slight recovery so that the balance sheet for 2022 is only minus six percent.

From a technical point of view, the share is in a consolidation phase after the strong downswing at the end of last year. If the DAX can now continue its recovery course, Schaeffler shares could also benefit.
