Ronan Keating taking an extended break in Australia

Ronan Keating, the Irish singer-songwriter, has announced that he will be taking an extended break from his music career to spend time with his family in Australia.

Keating, who is married to Australian television producer Storm Uechtritz, said that he had made the decision to take a break after a busy few years of touring and recording.

"I've been on the road for a long time and I'm really looking forward to spending some quality time with my family," he said.

Keating, who has four children, said that he would be using his time off to "recharge" and to "focus on the things that are really important to me," namely his family, friends, and his music.
