Ronan Keating Takes Extended Break From Music In Australia
Ronan Keating has confirmed that after his current commitments are complete, he is taking an extended career break to spend time in Australia with his family.
Ronan, 45, will bid farewell to his role as a judge on The Voice Australia in order to spend more time with his wife and five children.
The Irish singer, songwriter and television personality will remain on the show for the remainder of the current season and will honor all of his upcoming commitments.
However, after this, he will be taking a break from music to focus on spending time with his family in their new home on the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia.
Ronan has been married to Storm Keating since 2015 and they welcomed their first child together last year - a daughter called Coco.
In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph, Ronan said: “I’m going to take some time out to take my kids to school, hang out with Storm and just be present."
"Sometimes, when you work like this and you’ve got five kids and you’re constantly on the go, you don’t get enough time to do all the things you should be doing.”
Ronan added: I’m going to hang up my mic for a while. When I come back, I’ll come back all guns blazing for Boyzone’s 30th.”
