Machete-Wielding Man Attacks Police Officer in Front of Company
On Tuesday evening, a 38-year-old man attacked a police officer in front of a company in Berlin's Neukölln district. The man, who was armed with a machete, struck the officer in the face, causing a laceration. The officer was taken to a hospital for treatment, and the suspect was arrested.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. in front of a company on Karl-Marx-Straße. The suspect, who was later identified as a 38-year-old German citizen, approached the officer and struck him in the face with a machete without warning.
