Darvish Placed on Injured List

Fernando Tatis Jr., the San Diego Padres shortstop, hit his 40th home run of the season on Wednesday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Tatis Jr. also had two doubles and three RBIs in the Padres' 5-3 victory. The Padres have now won five straight games and are 1.5 games behind the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West.
