Indian table tennis players had a successful outing at the recent tournament in Bengaluru. Manika Batra, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, and Harmeet Desai all secured medals in their respective events. Batra won the women's singles title, while Gnanasekaran and Desai finished first and second in the men's singles event.
Batra's Impressive Performance
Batra continued her impressive form this season by claiming the women's singles title. She defeated Reeth Rishya in the final with a comfortable 4-1 scoreline. This was Batra's third consecutive title on the ITTF Challenge Series circuit.
Gnanasekaran and Desai's Rivalry
Gnanasekaran and Desai once again proved to be the top two players in the men's singles event. Gnanasekaran defeated Desai in the final with a 4-2 scoreline. This was Gnanasekaran's second title of the season.
