Hauptbahnhof in Rostock and Osnabrück closed due to bomb threats
Rostock:
On Wednesday morning, the main train station in Rostock was closed due to a bomb threat. The police received a threat around 8:30 a.m. and immediately evacuated the station.
The station was closed for several hours while the police searched the station and surrounding area. No suspicious objects were found during the search.
The station was reopened around noon.
Osnabrück:
A bomb threat also forced the evacuation of the main train station in Osnabrück on Wednesday morning.
The threat was received around 9:30 a.m., and the station was evacuated shortly thereafter. The police searched the station and found no suspicious objects.
The station was reopened around 11:00 a.m.
The police are investigating both threats and have not yet determined who is responsible.
