Ghana’s Coaching Trio, Including John Paintsil, Recovering After Crash

Three members of Ghana's coaching staff, including John Paintsil, were involved in a car accident on Tuesday.

The trio, which also includes assistant coach George Boateng and goalkeeping coach Richard Kingson, were traveling to the team's training camp in Cape Coast when their vehicle was involved in a collision with a truck.

All three men were taken to a local hospital, where they are being treated for their injuries.

Reports indicate that Paintsil, the former Fulham and Leicester City defender, suffered a broken leg in the accident.

Boateng, the former Middlesbrough and Aston Villa midfielder, is reported to have suffered a concussion.

And Kingson, the former Wigan Athletic and Blackpool goalkeeper, is said to have suffered a dislocated shoulder.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released a statement saying that the trio are all in stable condition and are expected to make a full recovery.

The GFA added that the accident will not affect the team's preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament, which begins on June 21.

Ghana is scheduled to play its first match of the tournament on June 25 against Benin.

The accident comes as a blow to Ghana, who are one of the favorites to win the Africa Cup of Nations.

The team has a strong squad, which includes several players who play in Europe's top leagues.

Ghana will be hoping that the coaching trio can recover from their injuries in time to lead the team to victory in the tournament.
