Derby on Wednesday - Krems top of HLA with 27:25 win in Bad Vöslau

Krems continue to lead the spusu HLA MEISTERLIGA after a 27:25 victory over city rivals Vöslauer HC on Wednesday.

The victory in Bad Vöslau sends Krems to 32:8, while Voeslau falls to 24:16.Krems had to fight to the end in a thrilling Lower Austrian duel at the Bad Voslau sports center. After a balanced start to the match (3:3 after ten minutes), Krems managed to gain a small advantage for the first time (6:4).

Vöslau managed to keep the gap small, but did not let the Krems team get away. With a 12:10 lead for the guests, the sides were changed. After the change of sides, the game remained close. Vöslau managed to equalise several times, but Krems never let the lead be taken away. In the end, the guests were able to take the derby spoils with a 27:25 away win. Krems thus remains top of the HLA MEISTERLIGA with a record of 32:8, while Vöslau remains ninth with a record of 24:16.

Krems coach Ibish Thaqi was pleased with the performance of his team: "We are very happy with the two points. It was a difficult game, but we fought hard and never gave up. We are now looking forward to the next game." Vöslau coach Michael Draca was disappointed with the result, but praised the performance of his team: "We played well, but we made too many mistakes in attack. We have to work on that in the next few weeks. Overall, I am satisfied with the performance of my team.
