Bomb Threat at Rostock Central Station Delays Deutsche Bahn Trains

Deutsche Bahn train services were disrupted on Thursday morning due to a bomb threat at Rostock Central Station.

The station was evacuated at around 7:30 am after a suspicious package was found. The package was later found to be harmless, but the evacuation and subsequent investigation caused significant delays to train services,

Deutsche Bahn said that all trains in and out of Rostock Central Station were affected by the delays. Some trains were cancelled, while others were delayed by up to two hours.

The delays caused disruption to commuters and travelers throughout the region. Deutsche Bahn apologized for the inconvenience and said it was working to get services back to normal as soon as possible.

The station was reopened at around 11:30 am, and train services gradually resumed. However, Deutsche Bahn warned that there may still be some residual delays.

The bomb threat is the latest in a series of security incidents at German train stations in recent months. In March, a man was arrested after he threatened to blow up a train station in Berlin. In April, a bomb threat at Frankfurt Central Station caused the evacuation of the station and the cancellation of several trains.

The German government has stepped up security at train stations in response to the recent threats. However, the threats have raised concerns about the safety of public transportation in Germany.
